Goat's milk and skin: why it is used in skincare

How to use Goat's Milk Soap Base

Cut and use

Cut the solid base into your preferred bar sizes for use as soap, without adding colour or fragrance.

Melt, customise and pour

1. Prepare: Weigh the amount required and cut it into small pieces. Set out a heat-safe container, mixing utensil and soap moulds.
2. Melt gently: Use a double boiler or microwave on low heat. Avoid overheating.
3. Personalise: Add soap-suitable colour or fragrance according to the additive supplier's recommended usage rate.
4. Pour: Transfer the melted base into your moulds.
5. Finish: Allow to cool until fully firm, then unmould and wrap for storage.

Make a small test batch when introducing new additives. Setting time varies with the mould and batch size, so check that the bars are fully firm before unmoulding.
