What workshops does Craftiviti offer in Petaling Jaya?
We run 15 hands-on experiences at the Craftiviti Experience Centre in Centrepoint Bandar Utama, from RM38. They include candle, soap, bath bomb, lip balm, lotion, resin and aromatherapy sessions. For more depth we offer Crafti Lab: SPARK, a Soap Making Masterclass and a Cosmetic Formulation Course.
How much does a candle making workshop cost?
Soy Wax Candle Making is RM77 for about 1 hour and you make 2 jars. Ice Coffee Candle Making is RM83 and Bubble Candle Making is RM89. The intermediate Crafti Lab: SPARK is RM350 for 1 person or RM680 for 2 people.
What is included in the workshop fee?
All materials, tools and ingredients, plus guidance from our certified facilitators. You take home everything you make.
Do I need experience to join a workshop?
No. Our experiences are designed for beginners. The Soap Making Masterclass is also suitable for beginners. Crafti Lab: SPARK is an intermediate class for people who have made candles before.
How long is a session?
Mini workshops run from 30 minutes to 1 hour. Signature experiences such as intermediate candle making can run up to 3 hours. The Soap Making Masterclass is 2 days of 5 hours, and the Cosmetic Formulation Course is 1 day of 6 hours.
How do I book a workshop?
Book online on the Experience Centre booking page, or WhatsApp us on +60 18-399 6553. The Soap Making Masterclass and the Cosmetic Formulation Course are booked by appointment, so WhatsApp us to enquire.
How much is the Soap Making Masterclass?
It is RM1,500 per person, with a minimum of 2 people. The course runs for 2 days of 5 hours at Centrepoint Bandar Utama. You make 15 types of melt and pour soap, take home your soaps, and get a certificate, all tools and ingredients, a soap eBook with recipes and a Craftiviti shopping voucher.
How much is the Cosmetic Formulation Course?
It is RM800 per person, with a minimum of 2 people, for 1 day of 6 hours. It is taught by a certified cosmetic chemist and aromatherapist. You learn natural cosmetic formulation, including lotion, body cream, lip balms and healing balms, and you blend lotion using Yein&Young Organic Lotion.
Can I book a private group or team building workshop?
Yes. We host birthdays, hen parties, family gatherings and corporate team building. Minimum group sizes apply. See our team building page or WhatsApp us with your date and headcount.
Can Craftiviti make candles for my event?
Yes. We make custom candles for corporate gifts, event door gifts, weddings and launches. Tell us your event, quantity and date on WhatsApp or email enquiry@craftiviti.com.
Can kids join the workshops?
Some workshops are family friendly, such as scented slime from RM38. Check each listing or ask us on WhatsApp first. Adults should supervise hot wax.
Where are the workshops, and is there parking?
At the Craftiviti Experience Centre, Unit S16 & S17, Second Floor, Centrepoint Bandar Utama, Petaling Jaya. Centrepoint has outdoor and basement parking. See parking details and directions. We are open daily 10am to 8pm.
What eBooks and online courses do you sell?
The Candle Masterclass eBook and the Lip Balm Making Masterclass eBook are RM49.90 each. For deeper learning there are the Rapid DIY Natural Skincare online masterclass at RM1,597 and the Beauty Formula Vault with 70 recipes at RM550.
