SOAP MAKING TIPS

Fresh breast milk is not suitable to be added to Melt&Pour Soap Bases no matter what blog and social media influencers say. For fresh milk, use cold process soap making method.

Always keep a bottle of Isopropyl alcohol handy as your best companion to disperse soap bubbles on surfaces like MAGIC!

Always add only dry ingredients to your soaps. Fresh and wet ingredients such a fresh fruits and flowers will need to be dehydrated before adding to soaps to prevent it from rotting.

For natural scrub effect in soaps, add dried coffee grains, sugar or salts. They scrub well, are completely natural and biodegradable too. Plus they don't clog your drains.

Adding natural cosmetic clays such as bentonite and rose clay will help harden your soap bar and also improve its lathering effect. Also acts as a gentle scrub to skin.

Melt&Pour is very forgiving. If you end us with deformities or don't like the end result, just melt the soap again and re-do the steps.

Once you are familiar with soap making the melt&pour way, you can switch to using microwave to quicken the process. Melt in low temperature in short duration. Check in, stir and repeat until all soap bases have melted.
