BATH BOMB MAKING TIPS

the main ingredients for bath bombs are Sodium Bicarbonate and Citric Acid. Other add ons are sea salt, epsom salt, corn starch, cream of Tartar, Kaolin clay and many others depending on the recipe you choose.

Citric Acid is made from citrus and is a known Vitamin C that benefits your skin when you soak in it.

Watch out for moisture when making bath bombs. Make sure all your utensils are dry and try not to make bath bombs during wet weather.

Some pigments in bath bombs may end up staining your bath tub. To avoid this, mix in some polysorbate-80 to help with the dispersion or try a different pigment quality.

If you want your candle to burn evenly and last as long as possible, on the first burn, let the candle burn until the top layer of wax has melted all the way to the edges of the jar.

Using food dyes in bath Bombs may stain your tub as well as your skin. stick with cosmetic grade pigments.
