Alginate Life Casting Powder

A safe and non-toxic powder for making life-casting molds. Craftiviti Alginate Life Casting Powder helps to create very detailed true-to-life duplicates of body parts.

Instructions for Use

1. Mix 1.5 to 2 parts room-temperature water with 1 part powder. The mixture will change from green powder to pink when mixed.
2. Stir quickly and thoroughly to remove any lumps or clumps.
3. The mixture will begin to harden within 30 seconds, so work quickly.
4. Once most lumps have been removed, immediately dip the object or body part into the mixture before it starts to gel. If molding fingers, toes, or other body parts, keep them still during the setting process.
5. Once the alginate has fully gelled, carefully remove the body part or object and wash off any residue.
6. Mix the Plaster of Paris immediately and pour it into the mold.
7. This is a single-use mold. The alginate mold will break during the demolding process when removing the cured Plaster of Paris casting.

Working time:

30 seconds to stir. 45 seconds to dip and wait for Alginate to harden.

Do a small test batch before attempting a bigger project just to understand how quickly you will need to work.

4. Pastikan mencelupkan objek atau tuangkan campuran ke objek sebelum ianya mengeras.
5. Ini adalah acuan sekali pakai. Sesuai dengan penggunaan pembentukan plaster.
