Polysorbate-20, also known as Tween 20, is a non-ionic surfactant and solubilizer commonly used in cosmetic, home care, and DIY formulations. It helps disperse lightweight fragrance and essential oils evenly in water, preventing separation while remaining gentle and soothing to the skin.

Polysorbate-20 is ideal for formulations containing less than 5% oils, such as face mists, linen sprays, air fresheners, and room sprays. For best results, mix Polysorbate-20 with fragrance or essential oils before adding to the water phase.
