Essential Oils for Eczema
Chamomile - Roman chamomile, German chamomile, and lavender sometimes overlap. Roman chamomile is particularly useful for babies and children. It is soothing and calming and good for skincare. Use it on inflamed skin or eczema. Try a blend with lavender and frankincense oil.

Geranium - Geranium is antiseptic and helps heal wounds. It is useful for skin conditions such as oily skin, eczema, and dermatitis. It is antibacterial and anti-inflammatory.
Lavender - This oil is soothing and calming to the skin. It is antibacterial and antifungal which help reduce skin infections. Try a blend with lavender, roman chamomile and peppermint. Lavender is a popular oil to always have handy at home for all types of cuts, burns, bites and itch.
Sandalwood - It is a natural anti-inflammatory. According to this study, “Sandalwood album oil has also shown promise in clinical trials for treatment of acne, psoriasis, eczema, common warts, and molluscum contagiosum.”
Tea Tree - Tea tree is thought to be the best essential oil to fight eczema as it is anti-inflammatory and antifungal which helps itchy skin. It helps soothe itchy and irritated dry skin
How to apply Essential Oils for Eczema
Make an easy hydrating mist (50ml) with witch hazel, aloe vera extract and distilled water or chamomile tea, add in 3 to 5 drops of essential oil of your choosing from the list above. Spritz on itchy areas whenever necessary.
