- Lay a sheet of beeswax sheet flat on a clean surface.
- Place a length of wedo wick at one end of the sheet. Then, gently pinch the wedo wick and corner of the beeswax sheet together. This is to prevent the wick from moving or falling out.
- Gently and firmly roll the beeswax sheet to form a candle. The looser the candle, the quicker it burns so it's best to get it as tight and snug as possible!
- Trim the wick so that it's roughly 1cm above the candle surface.
- It's now ready to be used! Make sure to put a dish under the candle before burning so the melted wax wont make a mess.
When and Where Can You Burn Beeswax Candles?
To enjoy the benefits of beeswax candles, you can burn them in different rooms at varying intervals. For those who have breathing difficulties (ie: asthma, allergies), burning 100% pure beeswax candles for 30-60 minutes in your bedroom prior to sleeping can help clear the air for a more restful slumber.
You can also use unscented beeswax candles in the kitchen, nursery or anywhere else to neutralize odours without tainting food with fragrances or perfumes. Though, make sure to never leave the candle unattended in case of fire hazards!
