Pro Tip
- For smoother surface, use a heat gun to smooth out the tops of finished candles. This method gets rid of tiny holes, wavy and uneven surfaces.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR HOW TO MAKE CANDLES :
- Get your wicks ready by putting the wick into the hole of the mold or stick it in the middle of the mold/container.
- Clip the wick upright with plastic clip at the top of the mold/container if needed.
- Heat wax direct over low fire or in a double boiler.
- Be careful not to overheat wax.
- Stir occasionally (overheated wax will discolour and/or burn your wax).
- Remove wax from fire and allow wax to cool down for 5 minutes.
- Add colour & fragrance or essential oil. (Oils will evaporate if the wax is too hot)
- Stir and mix gently.
- Gently pour the wax into mold.
- Allow wax to set at room temperature and let it cure for 1-2 days.
- Demold / remove from mold.
Caution
- Use only candle approved dyes to ensure no toxins will be burnt during use
- Use safe candle fragrance oils to ensure scent is safe for breathing in
- Do not add plant powders, uncertified coloring powders that may be toxic or inhibit burning of flame
- Never shut a candle with water, blow out the fire or cover flame to starve off oxygen
- Using a good quality wick will ensure even flame, low soot and no harmful toxic residues
- Make sure any botanical decorations are away from the wick so it will not catch fire
